A broker needs a DOT license the same as any trucking company. Do a google search and get the info on-line. It's a tuff racket that is loaded with pitfalls like non-paying deadbeats, etc.

I was in the biz in the late 80's/early 90's and quit cuz i was sick of millionaires owing me $$$.
